Dr Stephenson tells us that she – 

1. supports her predecessors EHRC interim guidance which includes the removal of sex-based equality and human rights for people with a gender recognition certificate (GRC).
2. believes that it is acceptable for people with a GRC to be recognised in their acquired gender in death or when getting married but not in employment or when using public services.
3. Agrees that she needs to build a relationship with LGBT organisations.

In the past 10 years government first came for the refugees, then they came for transgender people, who will be next?
