    What I do not understand

    What I do not understand is how, in what is supposed to be a democracy, a group of unelected political appointees can overturn the decision of parliament without taking evidence from the persons protected under that act of parliament and in doing so overturn the decisions of all lower courts and democratically elected members of both Westminster and Holyrood parliaments.

    Women motorcyclists in Iran

    An interesting and informative television item about women motorcycle riders in Iran – https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/videos/20251211161218973/ I am delighted that one of the riders in the clip, Behnaz Shafiei, has recently established a new WIMA Iran Division with the intention that WIMA will be able to use our reputation and 75-year history to support all women riders in Iran to be allowed to ride legally, to be able to get training and to obtain insurance. WIMA (Women’s International Motorcycle Association), established 75 years ago,  is now established in 40 countries worldwide.
